FAQ's
Q. Are there any additional or hidden charges to pay.
A. No, our prices are in pounds sterling and include all local taxes and service charges. You will receive written confirmation detailing all charges for your booking. Of course, if you decide later to hire additional equipment or services then these will have to be paid for locally.
Q. Do low cost airlines make regular flights to a conveniently located airport.
A. Yes, Ryanair fly from Liverpool, Glasgow, Luton, Stansted, Dublin, Bristol, Bournemouth, East Midlands & Birmingham to Reus Airport. The airport is under an hours drive from the River Ebro Guest House.
Q. Will I have to hire a car to get from the airport to the Guest House.
A. No, we provide an airport transfer service from/to Reus Airport connecting with Ryanair flights. This service must be pre-booked. Connection with other carriers is available, please contact us for details.
Q. Will we have to share a bathroom with other guests
A. No, unlike many other establishments, ALL rooms have en-suite bathrooms.
Q. How close is the river.
A. The river is located at the bottom of the back garden where there are several good pegs to fish from.
Q. Will I have to fetch my own fishing tackle.
A. No, we have complete tackle setup for hire (mainly Shimano reels and rods), but you will have to provide your own end tackle and bait, which you can purchase locally.
Q. Are licenses needed for fishing and canoeing.
A. Yes, but they are inexpensive and we can obtain them for you before you arrive.
Q. Can you arrange fishing guides.
A. Yes, there are several experienced local guides that have expert knowledge of the river. They are in great demand and advance booking is advisable.
Q. I prefer not to go on guided walks, are independent walkers welcome.
A. Of course, all guests are more than welcome and for the experienced walker there are several signposted walks close by. However, not all routes are circular and to get the most enjoyment during your holiday we recommend Guided Walks where all transport and the services of an experienced guide and support vehicle are included in the price.
Q. Are evening meals available.
A. Yes, cooked meals from our extensive menu are served every evening in the dining room or on the adjoining balcony overlooking the river. The choice and prices are similar to UK pub/restaurants.
Q. Are children and pets allowed.
A. Unfortunately we do not have facilities for pets, however children are more than welcome and we have 2 large family rooms equipped to sleep 4.
